Episode 34 – Live at the 2012 Stumptown Comic Fest
A Jumps B Shoots had the opportunity to be one of the live streaming podcasts at Portland’s Stumptown Comic Festival 2012, alongside veteran podcasts Dangerous Kids, Chronicles of the Nerd, Geek in the City, Going Last, Kaijucast, and Dawn Taylor Presents. It was also our first dive into the deep end of live radio broadcasts (thanks to Radio Stumptown)— it was interesting, and should give fans a rare look at the podcast sausage being made.
Come, listen to our attempts to stay on topic as we discuss the on-and-off again relationship that video games and comic books tend to have. What makes a good video game based on a comic property, and how does that process works? Also, the ever-talented pixel artist Paul Robertson is given an open invitation to be on AJBS, if only so we can yell at him about not making more video games.

Isn’t Goth Spiderman Batman?
Hi gang… I’m Adam, the developer of Hidden in Plain Sight. It was really fun to listen to you chat about it. I’m glad you liked it!
I thought I’d mention that there is an update in review at the moment that will add cumulative scoring to each game mode. I think this will add a lot to the experience.
Thanks again for your review!
Batman doesn’t listen to enough VNV Nation.
Adam, thanks for making such a simplistic yet addictive game. My non-gamer wife totally got into it and did quite well. We should talk soon about getting you on the show about making a game for XBLIG. BTW, everyone should start calling it XBLIG.
Sure. Have your people call my people!
